[The Honours of War] |
||||
|
/For sale / "Les Honneurs de la Guerre" is an exceptional account of what really took place during the Liberation of France in 1944. As such, it could well interest universities and historical societies as well as the usual circuits. The materials are in perfect condition. They are stored in the Film Archives at Bois d'Arcy (France) and at the LTC Laboratory. The film had been acquired by François Truffaut (Les films du Carrosse), who wanted to organise a re-release. When Truffaut became aware that he was gravely ill, he sold the film back to Jean Dewever. |
