When you look at works made for television, you realise that Film producers could never have agreed to do them, as they would not have considered them sufficiently commercial.

Jean Dewever started in television at a young age, thanks to Marcel L'Herbier (whose first assistant he was on Adrienne Mesurat), and has always believed that there is no difference between his films, TV films and videos.

The technical and artistic quality is the same, as is the aim of the works. There is no such thing as Cinema and television, an art and a dustbin.
